View Full Version : neeed help with my nokia 6600

I requested from my network operator GPRS function and they activated it for my mobile and they sent me a configuration message .
When i try to press on new message then multimedia message the phone doesn`t make anything but if a press new message then text message it works but for multimedia message the phone doesn`t make anything.
And if i go to the multimedia message setting the same occurs nothing happen

download nokia setting wizard from nokia and try

I Think Theres no problem on the multimedia settings sent to you by operator. If i have'nt mistaken, when you select the multimedia meassage, it goes back to the mani screen... is this you encountered???? If so, theres a problem on phone software and need to format it to restore.

do u mean that i have to upgrade my software or only format it

try format first, and if that doesn't solve the problem, then upgrade the software

to format *#7370# then enter security code (default is 12345)

After format u will have to enter MMS settings again

Aggreable!! And also you will be needing to setup your mms and gprs settings again. Hope that your problem will now solve.

to avoid typing all those setting in by hand you should try this program

It's called settingswizard and it's from the nokia website
