Plz plz plz.. help/info on 7710..?

Hi frenz and moderators..

please help me decide which next phone to switch to.. i've been using a 6600 for the past 2 yrs now.. :???: however, now i feel the need to switch to a higher category smartphone.. my main preferences for necessary features is SOUND and IMAGING...

Hence, considering many alternatives like 6630, 7710, SonyEric S700i, etc.. i've finally shortlisted 7710 (considering huge memory space, stereo sound, FM, web, 1 MP cam, etc.. ), :roll: however I'm still in a dilemma to go for it or not..?

Please inform me if there are enough software and extensibility available for 7710 as other symbians. :p Tell me if you find any bugs in this phone, or any places to get the latest stuff for it.

Otherwise, please please please suggest some good phone considering my needs.. (and my budget.. hehe) :sad:

Nokia 7710 is good, but its the first consumer s90 phone, so you will not find much software for it YET, i read some reviews that say it is kinda slow. u might consider the xdas. or the communicators

There are PLENTY software out there for the 7710 if you look hard enough for them.
I can swear on my life (just to prove I ain't Bshttn) that I have just under FORTY WORKING APPS/SOFTWARE for my 7710 and about EIGHTEEN WORKING GAMES for it too.

2 b honest, that's the only factor i'm being de-motivated by, not to get the 7710.. i'm afraid i might end up making such little use of such a capable smartphone.. :-(
so please b kind enuf to spread the word or upload such stuff to other forums like Aivanet or some good groups too.. :rolleyes:

So, that means, you really do like that 7710 and feel that I should go for it.. hmm..?
the reason I'm buggin u for this is that I still havent got a full 100% positive response from all the people i've talked to yet..

anyways, pls assist me ;) with those working files and let me know which all software do you feel, are the best for enhancing a 7710..

I don't think 7710 is the best choice for you (agreed that it's a good phone). It has too little RAM and yes it it slow

Hi All,

I got my 7710 2 weeks ago, and had problems.

1. Battery life approx 4 hours.
2. When you click on profiles, nothing happened.
3, Pre installed software on MMC only had 3 titles.
4, Phone kept hanging ( take battery out and re boot 100 times + )

Took the phone back to the store , who replaced it. It now works properly.

Can anyone tell me how to get music from my PC to the phone. Ive looked at the manual, and dont really understand.
