82x0/8850 up to 8855 mothed!!

1. your cpu must v16(rom6),if not must change it.
2. remove cpu(if your CPU isn't v16) and flash ic,bridge 2 wire
from cpu to the flash ic(G2 to A3, A10 to D10).
3. change your flash ic to 3204c3t(4MB,8855 is 4MB, 82xx is 2MB),
you must have some soldring skill to do this.
4. use "XPmobile (SG) Nokia DCT3 flash" to flash the 8855 full fls to the phone, and use "NokTool 1.8 by Rolis" software to reset the phone, change IMEI what u want.
5. OK !!!! i have 8855 now!!

notice: if your cpu is v16, you needn't remove it: from CPU No.1 point
(it's one the cpu's left, the sinus point), now winddershins
No.17 is G2, you can bridge it to A3.


thsi mothed is translation from chinese to english, may be some
words are wrong, but the mothed is right.

how about the cpu have glued? the glue is just cover the pin, still need to remove the cpu right?

i am sure the file is good.
remember rename the .zip to .rar.
because when i upload the file , the web said don't support RAR
file, so i rename the .rar to .zip , you can see the message i wrote.

Also, do you need hot air equipment to place the IC onto the phone? or will a regular soldering iron do the job? :)

I've been thinking that it should; as the hardware is much closer than the 8210. However, nobody has tried...

Have you tried just flashing a backup flash of an 8855 onto a 5210? I was gonna do that but I sold my 5210 before I could :p

hi, i have finally located the ic "3204c3t", i got it from 3610 and for 20 US$, (1000 Indian Rupees). but i prob,,,

i have 8210 (which is to be mothed) rom6, now i want to do it withour removing the cpu, please tell me how to do it.
