View Full Version : nokia 6600 errors when sending text messages. PLEASE HELP!!

i get the message:
Cannot sent message as memory full, try closing some app's first.
when i try to sent a text message on my nokia 6600.
here is what i have tried.

reset phone,
Uninstalled all apps,
deleted all memory used so i just have the original 4mb or so,
removed my MMSC card,

does anyone have any other ideas??

currently im installing the AV checkers so i can check for a virus..

does anyone think flashing this phone will fix it or is it totally screwed...

Hello mates...
Try to format first your mmc and phone. Flashing is only recommended when Firmware upgrade and OS crashed. I think your problem may solve by doing format. Hope this will help.

thanks for that worked a treat... best thing is i bought a 6630 cos i thought my 6600 was nackered and the 6630 is locked and i cant unlock it.. so i bought a T-Mobile simcard and it didnt work so i called em and they said the phone is black listed... does that mean it will be blacklisted on ALL networks or just T-Mobile?????

To format the phone type *#7370# and the phone ask for your lock code, make sure that your phone have a 3/4 of battery level, or plug it first to the charger to avoid format interuption. Format first your mem card before the phone. When completed, your phone settings return to default as is what you have bought.....

ok thanks that worked great my fone works again thank you very much.. if only i had met you before i spent £200 on a new 6630
