blue tooth backfireing....wirelessly turn off a phone that looks for you!!!
This trick is awesome and can easily confuse anyone! what it does is that it turns off any phone that has bluetooth turned on and tries to search for you! (obviously you need to have bluetooth turned on as well)

i think is sort of like u u got to enter some text/copy some text to ur Bluetooth name...

any ideas anyone?

yes make a txt document in the computer including something like " 1 "
save it and send it to you symbian phone, now open the message inbox and the txt document, save it, go to extras in the phone and open it, mark the text and copy, go to bt settings and raplace the name of your handset by pasting the txt copyed from notes.

tested and working

Works but it only shutdown Symbian phones (tried with my 6630... I hope it is fixed in the last firmware update...)

A word of caution though, read smwhere that those handphone that are restarted will have sm problem using their bluetooth again..

Maybe sm1 who has experienced it can share their comments..

I tried this morning, and the bluetooth of my 6630 seems to work correctly now...
I made it crashed (rebooting...) twice for testing.

I have firmware 2.xx, I don't know if it is fixed in 3.x or the soon-to-be-released 4.03.xx

Since now I'm always using Mobiluck to find bluetooth devices.

Advantages :

1) It doesn't crash with this trick
2) It can send protected files (.SIS, .MID...)

:D

what do you mean by [tab] ????

[tab] is the TAB key on your PC keyboard (the same as when you press ALT-TAB for switching application)

Is it SO HARD to do this trick ??????

edit :

1. Open Notepad
2. type (with quote) : "[TAB]1[TAB]"
3. Save file anywhere
4. Send it to your phone
5. That's it

It's VERY easy...
