Entering code in 6230 ??...

Hi all,



I’ve calculated unlock code for Nokia 6230 with dct4 calculator (asic 6) but can’t enter it in phone…

(Phone : imei : <removed> – Provider : France – SFR – Model : 6230)
When I write , on the phone without sim card, #pw+code+1# as I always do, no reaction from phone, no “error code” or something, it just don’t reacts…
I’m attempted to insert a refused sim card and give the code directly when the phones said the phone is restricted and asks for a code but the code only is said “error code”…

i also have the nokia 6230 but i unlocked my and 10 other 6230's without problems.... i dont know why it dont works at you...

when you enter a code without sim card (it is the right way) you must enter it quickly otherwise it turns back to message "insert sim card" ot a similar message exactly as if you did not enter any code
but entering the code with the card works too, so if you had code error, the code was wrong

What "Gen" did you use for your 6230?

Hi all,

Same network (SFR), same phone 6230 (purchased a week ago) and same problem with Nokia FreeCalculator. When I input the codes as specified, the phone does not even react to it... :-(
Did they change the algorithm ?
