Does anyone know why wav files doesn't work correctly on Symbian phones? When listening to short sound clips (ringtones), it stops before it's finished. The last part is not played.

Example: I have a soundclip on my PC were a woman says "You got mail!". When i play that file on my phone it goes "You got m." It stops before she get to say mail.

I thought that was just a little problem with my 6600, but my new 3230 also have that problem.

Same problem on my previous 6600, but when i check it to my friends 7650, the wav played conpletely. But some wav files can played completely on 6600, but some are not, and i think the format of a wav file is one of concern regarding the playability completeness problem.

reencode the file to have say an extra 2seconds of audio which is just silence, then when it cuts the end off it cuts the silence off and the audio you want is played in full
