I'm not sure if this has been discussed before, but could a reflash unlock the 6630 and 6680? I'm pretty sure people could "invent" problems to get their handsets reflashed if it meant it unlocked them

flashing doesnt unlcock phone & the onli way at the moment is to ask the network if your on contract if your not den ur in 4 a long wait like me :x
btw getting it flashed by shops who dont know about the different firmware( e.g. vodafone firmware & 3 firmware) will get you the GSM/generic firmware whcih gives you mp3s as ringtones :x

hi, when i signed up for a 12 month contract for this phone i wasnt told that the main feature that attracted me to the phone was disabled !! i dont pay £46 a month for this and not be able to use the main feature, u think i should contact vodaphone or the phone shop where i got it from, i think it was the link.

I too have a 6630 and cant use the mp3's as ringtones but the way around it is to convert the mp3's to .aac format. You can then use them as your ringtone.
