Hey guyz..
firstly i wanted to say to all those people who're thinking of getting a 3230 or 6260 or any such upgrade over a 3660 or 6600... just without any second thots go for the Nokia 6630 :-D ..
Trust me.. i don't regret it in any way.. i'm seeing a lot of people in same kinda dilemma these days. 3230 is crappy..
:-P
Now, coming to the point..
I am looking for a software or actually an app for celphones, which have the capability of Smooth Control of video formats like .3gp and .rm , just as we can do in SmartMovie.. By smooth controls i mean to rewind and forward to a seleted location in the clip..so.. pleez lemme know ASA somebody catches hold of such a tool..
and also.. wat software can i use 2 convert long videos or movies to put them in my phone as .avi (if your answer if Smartmovie converter, i'm still unable to use it properly.. it's 2 slow.. and am not able to get the exact codec to use..:p actually dunno which one to use :p so help me out).Thanx in advance.
enJoy liFe..
NoKiA 6630 RuLeZ.. :D

Hello mates,
Still i dont know the apps that smoothly control the 3gp and rm movie/clips files, that you requested on your post. But in your 2nd request, on converting movie files, im using real producer plus, a REALone product that converts mpeg to rm files, since 6630 can play full screen so this is gonna be rock, and you can select movie quality in the converter but varies in size of course, but it can do a quality movie output.

Hi frenz..
1stly thanx for yr feedback and tried help, however i came to know recently something that we (atleast me) probably ignored and never tried..
You can smooth forward or rewind a .3gp or .rm video in the basic RealOne player only.. simply by using the up and down buttons.. (or pushing joystick up or down)..
Yes, just like one can increase or decrease volume by LEFT and RIGHT directions, you can forward and rewind the clip by using UP and DOWN direction keys...
However, when doing that in a .RM (Real) clip it works fine, but with a .3gp file, the frame at the paused moment is not changed immediately, it's like it fades away with the new motion at the forwarded point.
You'll probably not understand like this, but just try.
:p I'm feeling so dumbass.. as if I'm the only one not aware of this... even after i've used a 6600 for more than a yr... :p
anyways thanx again..
Jas.

Hello Mates,
Yes you are right that realone can do that but you say smooth, realone cant do that bec. it can do more on framing not smooth as you can jump to your favorite sequences. Smooth motion is like on 6630 camera zoom not frame by frame! in this you can describe the two which realone have.
Best regards,
