won't turn on

hey

today i got a problem with my n-gage...

at first i got a "Main error" and the phone restarted...

turned back on and went off (the nokia word appeared, like whenever i turned it off)

this happened multiple times (turning off about 5 seconds after it was on - in the "main menu"-> after typing the pin)

now i turn it on and i get the nokia symboll from when i turn it on, screen goes white for a couple of seconds, then i get the nokia symbol for turning off...



is there any way i can update the firmware?

i am aware that there is a kinda safe mode to turn it on, but dunno how to do it


i just want to turn it on and format it, because luckly i just backed up the system memmory a couple days ago...


any tips, please help

You need to flash the phone with a new firmware version. If you would like to flash your phone, then you should buy a dongle. A dongle costs too much. More like the cost of buying a new phone. (i think...) ;)

But if you know some phone repair shops out there then it shoudnt cost too much. If you can't find one then you should bring it to nokia care :)
