ok so far i have ordered the bluetooth adapter for my pc and i have an ngage ive got the ngage official nokia modem software for my pc and im just waiting for the bluetooth adapter to be delivered, I have a few questions-

on the nokia website in the pdf guide to using your ngage as a modem it says that your network which im asuming means your isp supports hscsd and that your network must support gprs, im realy confused because the isp im using is a anytime number u just dialup to to access internet its 1pence per minute service (i can give details of the isp name and stuf if u need just ask). where will the internet be charged to? my mobile credit im assuming and if it is to my mobile credit how much will it charge? will it charge more or just the flat 1pence per minute.

sorry for the long explenation

thnx in advance

these are questions you should ask your mobile phone provider...

if your going to use the ngage as a modem, then it will be using your phone (sim) network to call, thus call charges will be put on ur mobile account. If your charged 40cents per minute then that charge in addition to access charges by the ISP will be incurred.

it does not need HSCD although your handset and mobile service should be able to 'data calls' to any number. If you plan to use the ngage as a GPRS modem then HSCD and GPRS services MUST be activated on your sim.

Remeber the modem is also a fax modem so you can use it as a fax too (with fax software)

cheers ;)
