nokia 6600 problems...help plzzz

im having problems hearing people on my nokia 6600, and yes the volume is all the up!!! has anyone else had this problem with this phone, is it common? does anyone know what i can do about it ... my friend has a nokia 6600 and the screen is cracked so its basically good for parts. Could i take the earpeice out of my friends phone and put it in my phone?? if so, can someone tell me how to open my phone up?? sorry for all the questions, i thought i'd just get them out all at once :wink:

I had the same problem with mine, and I cracked my case and LCD so I replaced screen, and just cleaned the earpiece and now I can hear people no problem, you will need a t6 tork screwdriver and patience.

I have looked for the manual on the web, it is around free some where.

is the panel fixed on screws or just clip lock?
