I think its possible but no apps available for now. For now try to convert your mp3 to wav or ogg, and select your favorite/like part of the song. Infact, the ringtones are not advisable to be long long and long - so better to use a wav tones, on your 6600 as well....

Hi!

First of all install OggPlay prog. (Rather good player)
Convert some MP3's to .ogg (I use oggConverter prog)

Copy ogg files to MMC or phone memory and in Ringtone settings select one of them.

Works great.

P.S. Try to copy mp3, maybe they wil work too.

download the attached file and extract it
install it on nokia 6600 and set a mp3 file as a ringtone.
nokia 6600 is invincible.

I think I tried this b4 and it didnt work. I read on another forum that there was an mp3 codec for 6600 which works eith firmware 5.27

u needa use the pc suite software, use the file transfer option to send a mp3. it will automatically convert to .wav for u.

u will need to xfer the file to sounds/digital folder to be able to use it as ringtone :)
