Which cable unlocks a SGH-A800?

hi!!

I need to unlock my Samsung SGH-A800 which is locked into Virgin Mobile UK.

it seems all UK stores are sold out of A800 cables, but I've heard that other cables work with the A800 too. Is this true? I've heard the T100 and A300 are compatible, but I want to be sure before buying!

When I have the cable, which is the best software for unlocking these days and which software allows transferring of games and ringtones? yes im kinda new!!! ;)

btw, I've tried 'free' lock codes, unfortunately my phone is one of the newer A800s which seem to require a cable.
