Nokia n70

Hi everyone,
I wanted to know if its worth buying the n70 or should i just go for the 6680 because the 6680s price would drop when the n70 would come out and the only diffenece between the n70 and 6680 is the camera and platform upgrade. I also wanted to know if its worth getting a smartphone, like what advatages are there such as applications etc. Plus the price for the n70 would be around £300-£400. But when do you think the price would drop for the n70. When n91 comes out??

I am waiting patiently for the N70, with a view to replacing my 6630 with it especially as with this line of phones they will have 2mp camera's.

But, and this is were I feel the N70 will fall down because of this, the lack of auto focus on the camera will hamper it, especially when you pit it against the competition.

However from what I have read the N90 will have auto focus & this will make it more appealing.

For me personally though I still prefer the look & sound of the N70, but wish it was coming with auto focus.

Same here too. Im consider n70 instead of 6680, and waiting also for the n91.

The n70 price is going to be around £300-£400. I was told by a nokia adviser. So seeing that you can get the 6680 for £200 its a good deal. But i do preffer the n70 its just that the n70 has only got a few extra features an if its round £300 i might consider it but if it starts at £400 then i might wait not sure yet. Plus the n70 is supposed to be a new gaming level phone and there will be more better games coming out by the end of this year. I also wanted to know what series 60 applications are good because ive seen some and some eg (msn) or somthing like that could be useful but others are pointless so i was woundering what programs you lot used or if you had heard or seen any good useful programs.

Whats the difference between the n70 and n90 its just the camera quality and the n70 has got a radio but n90 hasnt. Also the n90 has got a better platform or is that n91? Thats all the differences i can think of at the minute. Can you lot add some more??

n70 is also the smallest 3g phone.
I think n90 aint symbian whereas n70 is
does the 6630 have auto focus?

Anyway I'd prefer n70 over 6680

No, 6630 doesn't have auto focus.

For me if I change phone's soon it will be an N70 as it looks good & the spec looks great to. It is just a shame about the camera being better but no auto focus to compare better against the likes of SE with picture quality.

I didn't know N91 wasn't Symbian though, counts that out as I've got to retain use of TomTom for driving.

the thing that stop me from buy a n70 is that i have 6630 and a benchmark with n90 and 6630 are that the 6630 are mutch faster than n90 so il wait until i see a benchmark with the n70 and 6630 :cool:

Cheers for the help everyone and giving your opinions. I think ill go for the n70 if its not too expensive. I wanted to know if its worth getting a s60 phone because i havent seen many good applictions for it. I was also reading in a forum that the n-series would be running a newer software version and the old applications that run on old software versions wont work on the n-series because of the hi-res. So if thats true there would be much applictions for the n-series would there?
