u can install this fixngage.sis, worked in my n-gage too. i got it from n-symbian.com.

did you say etelserver? tried a search on here for etelserver?

its the latest version of Agile Messenger that causes that prob, apparently if u install it to the mmc it writes some files in the C Drive instead of the E drive (in the recogs folder)

just hunt down a previous version of agile messenger and uninstall the one thats on there...

if u've formatted it and cant find the uninstall? just install it again, then uninstall it..

yeah i did, also i searched it too, there is only one result which is this thread lol
i heard about agilemessenger causes this error.. but i can't use previous versions, warns me on every log in attempt and if i press cancel, app closes itself (not crashes, it doesnt let us to use it if there any new versions available, at least on n-gage..)

it crashes on every boot.. phone is running though but its annoying.. u know..

when doing a backup that error always comes up...just press OK and let the ngage do its backup...

its part of the backup process so I wouldnt worry about that one...

ps..it shuts down some background tasks so that it can release all the files to be backed up...

yeah i know what cause it too but one thing that i dont know is how to fix it :)
it (the error) comes up when a process killed by another process which is backup in this subject...

btw, i have a bad news.. agile messenger is no longer free... check it out from http://www.agilemobile.com/announcement.html :/

just format the fone with the two codes and start again.
you may need to format the mmc too.
search for the codes..

EtelServer issue continues... i removed v3.58 and installed the new vers.3.62 and this one causes the same issue too..

did you 'uninstall' it or just deleted it...if you just deleted it it wont work, you MUST uninstall it..

course i uninstalled it and also deleted some files one by one which r not removed by uninstalling process...

btw it's working, it always did.. the problem isn't agilemessenger's working or not.. the problem is an error occures on every boot which is App. Closed EtelServer!..

C'mon guyz we can do it, we can resolve the problem lol

if that doesnt work, backup ur stuff and reformat your phone...

ok this worked for me ...when you switch on the phone push the contacts button fast like you playing playstation until the phone boots up...may be inconveniant but how many times do you switch it off ...the problem isnt there if you take out mmc card

i did what u said deleted two files without uninstalling agilemessenger 3.62, now it's working fine without EtelServer error but now opening of agilemessenger takes a long time 40secs or sth..

and again another error comes up! damn!
when backing up, about 50% of process "App. Closed! Main" occures.. i just hit the ok then it continues back up and finish it...

well i'm gonna take n-gage to the nokia care tomarrow, cuz the battery makes me sick, sometimes charging time is too short about 30mins. and sometimes standby time takes 1/4 time.. i mean normally standby time is about 2 days but sometimes this is about half a day... i heard about maybe internal power supply damaged...

You can fix the app close main error..

1) Open your filemanager/explorer
2) Go to c:/system/bootdata & delete FirstBoot.dat
3) Turn off phone & take out your MMC card(if you still have it in)
4) Turn on phone and put in current time/date
5) Wait for it to boot up then turn off phone again.
6) Put MMC back in and turn on phone.

This fixes the "App. Closed Main" error.

well, i got my phone back from the nokia care and they said they changed sth in it. now no more time and date reset when i remove the battery for change mmc..

btw u dont have to format ur mmc, sometimes a file or files corrupts and that makes the errors, so insert ur mmc to ur card reader, open ms command prompt, type "chkdsk :g /f /r " (g is my card readers letter, urs may be different) and press enter, windows (xp) scans mmc and fixes errors.

yeah i did, and did u read all stuff i wrote?!
it's different it ends and it ends with an error. if it ends with an error that means it was killed by sth.. and there is a prob.

its new for me, never happened before btw did i mentioned i regularly back up my memory?

bottom line: i know what is wrong and what is normal, dont try be a wise man here.
