I have bought a new facia off Ebay for my 6680 but it came with no instructions how to change it. Does any one know how I get the original one off?

well just open the back cover 1st .. then there are 2 small kind of clips at the right and left of remaining back cover .. just open them with a twizzer or any other tool and rest the front cover will easily come out.
hope u understand :)

Can someone please show me what is a "pin-acle", or at best, a picture of it will be good. Thanks.

This is very easy in fact... Here's how:
First remove the battery compartment cover (Duh!), remove the battery too. Now, where the base of the battery rests, (near the top end, under the camera) you will see 2 small plastic "tongues" or clips which are most likely the same colour as the plastic cover surrounding the camera. These need to be pulled out or lifted ever so slightly to unclip them (Use something along the lines of a flat head screwdriver, with the end bent to an angle). Once they are unclipped, you will find that the plastic piece surrounding the camera will more or less simply lift off now.
Now at the top of the phone, you will see another two small clips, on eack corner almost, which are part of the front fascia. These to need to be lifted slightly to unclip them. DO NOT simply try to pull the front fascia off after unclipping these two clips, you may snap the fascia! Instead, get your small flathead screwdriver again, and push it into the gap between the fascia and the phones body that now exists since we unclipped the top end of the fascia. Now gently slide your screwdriver down the length of the phone to prise the side clips out (both sides of course), then all that remains are 2 clips at the bottom of the phone, under the keypad. You should be able to simply lift the front fascia off the phone at this point however, so these shouldn't be a problem.
Reverse order to fit a new fascia (of course  )
Hope this helps someone.... I can post pics up somewhere if required.

I just don't understand how to get out the top cover part above the camera.. too hard to get it to lift upwards.. Can't ask Nokia to simply SHOW ME how it goes.. can i..? guess will have to wait or take it to some local market guy who probably has changed fascias...
I reallly reallly weaally wanna do this but too afraid..
Help.. (if can.. :P)
thanx .. great pics (but probably need a detailed one helping to understand how to remove the top cover above the camera..)
