Found black box in my boot?

Hiya,

I just got a honda accord Lreg and in the boot is a black box called

"Nokia TMX-2 Class 2/4"

"11/05/00/1637"

It has an attenaa socket and a network socket also what looks like a serial programming socket

Hi, you have just found one of the original, analogue car phones. The RJ45 (network) socket used to conect to a cable which in turn connected to a handset, speaker and mic fitted in the drivers area. I expect if you look carefully you will find some screw holes around there somewhere!

I fitted many of these phones for ridiculous amounts of money - ah, the days!!

As the analogue network is long gone - box is of no use anymore.

is this box at all hackable?

just opened it there are seperate modules in there the main module has what looks like a removable PIC
