resetting phone

I have a 6210v556 and have tried on numerous occasions to reset it back to factory settings I have tried many programmes, but it still leaves the extra 5 ringtones on it and the operator logo that was downloaded to it any ideas or programmes that can change this

Hi stokesy,

What cable and progs have you tried? maybe you havn't got a good connection to your phone. Try reading from the phone via Mbus to check it. hope this helps

Tried my connections on my Mbus cable and every thing is fine

Have you tried "Nokia Profile" I have used this with 3210, 3310 & 3330 without any problems. good luck

I have sucessfully reset these model phones,but it doesnot work with 6210 and 7110.Try and see

Try nokia tool by jordik 3.21 tick select all in the SFS - Special Factory Settings section and apply them

If this dont work then simply flash a virgin backup MCU+PPM+Virgin eprom

Sorry mate I don't but I tried restore factory resettings from loads of programs on my 7110 no luck! I went into settings menu in the phone + restore factory settings and it doesn't seem to do anything either. Maybe restoring fatory settings on these handsets is inaffective of imported tones & logos? ? ?
