showing who sms is from on 3230

I have all my contacts in my contacts list. but it doesnt show from "Dude" when i get sms. it just shows the number. how can i set it to show who sent it?

if restarting doesnt help and ur sure u have the number in ur phone it would be nokias great method of finding the numbers
it only matches the last 5 digits of the phone number
so if u have 2 mates whose numbers end in the same 5 numbers, the phone gets confused and doesnt display it.

wow thats something i didnt know!!!
i knew about the problem of confusing is with two whole numbers identical problem when you got brothers and sisters on your phone (same landline number)
but didnt know it only when on the last 5 digits
it doesnt really make sense though you could have two people with "identical" numbers the only difference is the area code of the number as they are from different towns or cities to each other, maybe countries
