Hello,

I'm new to Symbian.
I'm considering to buy Nokia 6260 or maybe some other Symbian based mobile phone.

The only problem is that I expect my new phone to be capable of deleting multiple (all) SMS messages at once (even the the unread ones).
That's because I got all E-mails to phone as SMS messages and I rarely need to open any of these when out of office for 2-3 hours. So I just need delete these most often without reading.

Mobile phone salesman told to me that with Symbian, SMSes can be deleted from inbox only one by one. I also checked the 6260 and couldn't find this option in 10 minutes ... (delete all - from inbox)
Can anyone confirm that this option is missing? It's hard to believe as this option seems to be essential. Maybe there is an easy way around?

When in inbox, press options, scroll down and select mark/unmark, then mark all,
then delete.
