As soon as I turned on the phone, the mem card said 11MB used and 53MB free = 64MB card.

But why is that?

do you mean turning it on after you received it?? if so i beleive nokia put a load of applications and a few images and videos on my MMC of my 6630, id uess it was same in your case, browse the phone see what you can find, remove the memory card and see what is missing!! or go to the memory card application and press options then memory details will give you a rough idea of where the memory is being used

Install any file manager and check Your MMC.

Use card reader.

Formate it.

I have 512 Mb MS Duo, but really it's 463Mb only!

Yeah cheers.

I installed "FExplorer" and found all the orange shit that they put on. Never mind, gotta get me a 512mb card to put my "CHEAP" TomTom stuff on anyway.

Pretty good one. But that is a File Browser for my Cell.

I was looking for a PC based File Browser like PC Suite

yeh mate i jus got my 6680 2 days ago and had the same problem. After further probing i found that orange had installed "fireplayer", "orange music player", and an "orange installer".

I simply formatted my card and got full use of my memory card :D viva la nokia! :-D

hI all i have just got a 6680 on 3 off ebay expecting it to be easy to unlock but i have been everywhere to get it unlocked by no joy.
can this phone be unlocked ??? or should i just resell it ???
