Does this little program help to unlock BB5 phones like Nokia 6680? It´s for flashing I´m sure but for unlocking BB5 phones.... Any expert please check this out and post your comments here!

That program is to be used with a box called twister, being a version updated to support the BB5 series but only for flashing!!

Don't you think that if that served to unlock those models it would be available by now?

I think it is a legitimate quesiton. There is all kinds of info pumping hype that there are "clips" out there that can unlock these, but nothing to identify which ones. Also, many posts suggest that a Nokia service center can flash a new version of firmware onto the phone, and that once done it will unlock it during the process.

It would sound reasonable to assume that since a hardware solution does exist, and since the DctxBB5 for twister says it can flash the phone, that perhaps a firmware flash with the Twister could have the side-benefit of unlocking it too.

Every questions is legitimate (as mine was) but i also feel that a little stroll around any forum will show that there's still no solution available unless requested from the service provider (network)

Nope, it's a wrong thought. Flashing a phone won't change its lock/unlock state; and that didn't happen even when there were only DCT3 phones

I have UFS3+HWK+Tools 1.4_B (Not trial) but i dont seem to have the flash files for 6630 and 6680.
Does any one have this flashes?
Does flashing the phone remove locks?
I can post the software if you need it...
Also if any one has a more recent version i would apreciate it...
(It only works if you have HWK)
