question about ngage

Hi everyone i m italian,so sorry for my english.My friend has an ngage (the 1° model) to sell,and i m thinking to buy it.But this ngage is not the retail version but the demo version,and it can be used only to play games,not to call or any other function of a normal cellular phone.So my question is does it exist a software to unlock all the function of this phone???and if i flash it with a normal firmware???the hardware it s the same???

No, it will not work as a phone then. It will probably be corrupted beyond repair if you flash it with new firmware. Also, the N-Gage sucks as a phone... Get something else :)

HEY...

I have a DEMO model, which i flashed many times with all the
different firmwares available....

But all this only made the phone able to play games an use
all the menus..

The phone won't connect to any network...

So if you want the fone just for playing games take it..

Are you sure that you haven't overlooked two things? The N-Gage comes with a special N-Gage dummy sim card, so that those who want to use it as a console can start right away. Have you tried putting a normal sim card in? Also, there is an "Offline" mode, which switches of all the network connections.

SO I KNOW WHEN A SIM IS PRESENT..!!
