Hi
I have been trying to find the location of the Operator Logo in my 8250 flash file and have not been able to find it i used 2 flash files one with a OP logo and one without and compared them in Hex workshop but with no luck their are too many changes in the flash... i also converted the OP logo to hex using Nokia Hex but still cannot find the hex values in the flash.... Are the OP Logos encrypted in the flash???
Anyone have any idea where the logo could be stored and is it possible to change the size of it so it looks like a screen saver???

Hi,
Search '00481C01' in eeprom area.
48 = x72
1C = y28
Good Luck.

Ok ive tried this, redone x and y co-ordinates but how would you upload an operator logo this big?
Like logmanager has set sizes so..... How?
Sure theres a simple way but i cant think of one...

Oops,
Those last adresses were for the picture messages.
The opr logo is I think here:
1E0A32-1E0AB7 Operator Logo:
02F4210000000000040000000000000000040020000000000000>>
02F421 happens to be my provider.
The rest is a part of the logo.
Sorry.

so is it also possible to make the operator logo BLINK? like the caller group logos of a 8210?
if we put the 01 before the hex strings? anyway, i'm not sure WHERE is the EXACT address of the operator logo in the eeprom... like in a 6210 - there are TWO operator logos.

Hi has anyone found anything new about it then?Well actually it would be useless to change the size into a picturemessage one but you can change it to 78 x 21 as it's the 7110 size which logomanager can handle.So Mr.NokDoc you're the man here,could you possibly lend us a hand plz,with all the knowledge you have?How can we foind the actual position of our logo and change the size into a 78 x 21 one?Plz help sir!

Hi It looks like no one has info on this i have looked and not been able to find any info on the EEprom offsets so i guess well just have to wait untill someone with this knowledge takes interest in this idea maybe then we will have some results.
I tried to capture the output from Logomanager using a serial port capture program but still i could not understand the output..Just wondering if this would give us the location of where the image was uploded to in the phone???
Another idea was to change the key combination for the KEYLOCK function anyone know anything about this???

Try to use your hexworkshop.
Upload a blank logo using logomanager.
Make Full backup (including eeprom using rolis 477/478)
Upload a reverse blank logo using logomanager.
Make Full backup (including eeprom using rolis 477/478)
Compare the two files.
I hope there will be differences in the EEPROM area.
Resizing? Maybe you have to ask Joox.
Happy Flashing... :cool:

I have tried this i think the data in the eeprom is encrypted so all picture messages, Logos etc will be very hard to locate & replace i have captured some output from logomanager when uploading a oplogo to the phone but i am still unable to tell where the logo is in this data, Maybe someone could have a look.
