hello

i also have problems with unlocking my 8310

i have unlocked 2 nokia phone with the calculator..it worked fine but when i enter the code in the 8310 nothing happens. no message that the code is accepted or wrong or anything else.

what shall i do???

Enter the code with a not accepted sim in the phone. Some newer phones need to have a not accepted sim to recognize the code.

when i put in a not accepted sim card theres only s screen "phone limited" and i can't input anything. only emergency 112

As a beginner I may have got a little confused. I believe that the 1st 6 digits of the IMEI donate the gen, dongle or something. I have an 8310 with softyware version V 05.57 15-08-02. The first 6 IMEI digits are 351104. The phone works on O2 so I assume it is locked to that. How do I use this info to select the right gen, i.e original, asic, when using the calculator.

Please help, !. :-?

well, you're not only a begginer but you can't also read charts :eek:

on the other thread you posted (already deleted it) there's a table with a timeline where it shows the aproximate dates when GEN's got blocked by nokia. and the first time a gen was detected blocked was in June 2003. so it means your phone is one that accepts ALL gen's available and you can use any calculator that you'll get valid unlocking codes, as long as you select the right model
