I went to the DT3 threads and one thread said my particular phone in question is a DT4

I need a vaslid code to unlock the heifer before I throw it :eek:

Mr./Ms. kyhomepie, I shall recommend several readings.

1. Rules. Imei posting and code requests are not allowed here and lead to be banned. This is community meant for other issues, not for codes delivery. We can help you to get your own codes. But we will not supply with codes.

2. FAQs. Once the point 1 is understood, you may continue with the Frequently Asked Questions, which will surely lead you to understand how a code is generated, and the main settings that you should use to unlock your phone.

3. Read the stickies on this forum please. That will also help you. (both to understand the rules and to understand the unlock process)

4. Use the search engine. Searching by your phone model, your network, etc., will probably lead you to get the right code.

Of course, any doubt we will do our best to help you. When posting please give as as much info as you can (network, country, firmware date and version, etc), but of course, avoid posting not allowed info (imei and codes).

many apologies for my errors as this place is very confusing.

I posted to where I believed I was suppose to and in readings I came across beforeheand lead to my original post.

You posted in the correct section, as your phone is DCT4 and this is the DCT4 section.

Read FAQs and stickies in this section (DCT4) and you will understand how to generate codes. Then, any doubts please post again and we will do our best to help you.
