View Full Version : Serials (GEN) discussion (NO CODES , NO IMEI's ALLOWED)

Hi,
i created this thread so that users/unlockers can discuss the blacklisting of serials and other aspects related to serial box numbers.
I've been fooling around with my 8310/7210 and found that in theory there are 2048 possible serial boxes available!! Their numbers go from 32768 to 34815!
My aim is to compile a list of blacklisted serials and the dates they stopped working so that we can advise and use codes correctly. Also the firmware version, model and date of phone it was discovered should be posted here.
I also suggest that we stop naming serials as it creates a lot of confusion (as happens with ASIC6) and if what if said happens to be true we'de have to name 2048 serials
Any posts requesting codes or showing IMEI numbers or other issues not related to this one will be deleted without warning (and this has no tolerance :-x )
Hope you guys find it usefull and contribute to it :)
cheers

you must know the date of the firmware of your phone. only then you can choose a serial depending on that value

Does anyone have a full list or a table on which fones unlock with which serials? that would be a great help
Interesting Question!
However there is several factors that we would have to deal with
Different countries/networks use different serials and certain serials being blacklisted!
Mestrini devised a list of known blacklisted serials
So usually its best to keep checking back on the forum for known SAFE serials
At the moment safe serials at 03/06 are 32779(Original) 32821(Asic6) and 33000

Hi mr. Unlock432.
Check the table above, and use a serial that has not been blacklisted by mid '05.
Best regards
Edge.

Well... take five seconds and read what Mr. mestrini said:
"I've been fooling around with my 8310/7210 and found that in theory there are 2048 possible serial boxes available!! Their numbers go from 32768 to 34815!"
So... yes, you can use more than one ;)
Take into account that these studies are not definitive not absolute nor guaranteed... they are very approximate, but obviously neither Mr. mestrini nor, I think, anyone, can test these conclusions in EVERY phone in the world.
This info comes from several fonts: mr. mestrini and others experiments, reports from other people, reports from users, etc.
So, be careful and don't waste your tries. But again, answering your question, yes, you can use more than one serial.

Ok Thanks for your help :-P
I recomend that you remove the blacklistet serials from the calculator. that will give answers to many people posting about the calculator doesn't work...

We don't belong to the devel team... and as far as I know, development of the Nfree calc has stopped.
Anyways, it is a good idea. We'd need the source code of course, and as I know, the Nfree calc is free but not public (though the C basic algorithm was released under the GNU/GPL, so anyone that knows a little programming can develop a simple calc with adequate serials).

was it then an idea to make this new one caling it something else. That shouldn't be any problem, right. It is just no good that we keep answering questions from people that has problem with the unlock calculator.

I do agree with you... the main problem is that by default the Nfree calc chooses a blacklisted serial, that's why everybody wastes the first couple of tries.
If I recall correctly, Mr. mestrini told Mr. Crux2002 to change the default serial on the next and last version of the nfree calc (V 3.5 IIRC)... but I don't know the results of that conversation.

Mr. Romanov_Maxim, this is not the place to put this question. As you can see for the title, this thread is intended to post issues about GEN study. Your question clearly is not related to this.
Next time, do a search or at least post in the correct place. Answering your question, now you can only unlock via cable because the maximum allowed times have been reached without success. To unlock via hardware you need a special device called "box" which is rather expensive for just one phone. Your best solution is to take your phone to a small repair phone shop that will unlock the phone for a small fee.
I'll leave your question and this answer for a week and then I will delete both since they are not related to this thread and does not contribute to its objective.
Best regards
Edge

What Am I Suppposed To Do ?
GEN:32836(ONE) Worked For Me Coz I Got The Right Code But I Exceeded The Code Limit i.e 5 Times Coz It Said "Not Allowed" Instead Of Cannot Undo Restrictions

Instead of posting this off-topic subject (and force me to post too) you should have read the previous post by EdgeCrusher as it explains what you're supposed to do when you use all the tries.
PS: "Not Allowed" is the correspondent message of "Cannot Undo Restriction" for the Symbian phones

Sorry this Thread has dried up.
There are still a lot of folks that want their old phone unlocked.
I never had much to add here since I am not a programmer.
I still see these being used.
32779 Original
32802 T-Mobile
32806 Custom
32811 Custom
32821 ASIC6
32835 GAY's, Hongxing
32836 ONE
33268 Custom
33820 V2
Of course with BB5, it's getting harder.
It's a pitty the developement on the Calcs has stopped.
I have had a dream that someone would develop a Calc to reverse the process.
Find the MCC and MNC from the Unlock code, Box Serial, Lock type and IMEI.
Oh well, not to be.
