Ok, so I have bought two phones from Spain network and I have typed so many codes so far, that I probably could start job as code typer in military.

Can anyone help me with this phones (or I have to pay some criminal with no teeth's for unlocking it). Details goes like that:

Phone Number one:
Nokia 6101,
Bought in Spain, Network Movistar Telefonica (not just movistar),
Not prepaid, typical contract phone.
imei: <was here but a mode removed it>
Software revision:
V 03.36
29.06.05
RM-76

Phone Number two:
Same nokia, same network, same software revision
imei: <was here but a mode removed it>

Please help me. What should I do? Of course I have used settings for 6100..

If you have entered so many codes, it means most problably more than 5, then you already had a message like this " cannot undo restriction" or "impossible ..."

this means your phone is hardlocked you need to unlock it by cable now, no more possible by code

Well, that would be a very rare mobile technician... usually, they're not criminals, they have most of their teeth, and besides that, they know how to unlock and repair a phone... ;)

Find a small repair shop. That will do. No cable/software combination will help, since you need a special hardware device that is rather expensive for just one or two phones. Better take it to a small repair shop that will unlock it for a small fee.

By the way, when you have five minutes free, take a look at the rules. Imei posting is not allowed and leads to be banned, ok?

Best regards

@Edgecrusher

Unfortunately most european countries aren't like UK where unlocking isn't a crime

That's why he mentioned the teethless criminal since repair shops don't unlock phones (at least not "in the open")

here in portugal unlockers are mostly private ones or (this will sound racist  ) phone shops owned by indians

cheers

Mr. mestrini, interesting legislation. Even in Latin America, unlocking is not illegal. It usually voids warranty, according to the contract with the provider, but it's not illegal (in most countries, I suppose of course there are exceptions). And even for some providers it doesn't even void warranty.

Anyways, the tweak is that it is very hard to find a repair shop here.

Nah... it's not racist, if that's the way it is, that's the way it is  .
