Hi,

yesterday I got hold of the cracked .app file for the new TTM update
I created a sis setup for S60 which works perfect

now I'm gonna create a sis setup for S80 & S90 but don't have anyone to test it..
if someone is interested in testing S80 & S90 please let me know..

grabbed the .app from dotsis forum and create the .sis myself

can u plz help me i have installed tomtom sis which you have uploaded thanx for that it is working fine , the only problem which i m facing for 2 months that it says "no maps found", i installed the ovc and then the sis file of map but teill now it is saying that no map found, can u plz help me, my mobile is nokia 6630 and i also have turned the bluetooth on, can u plz help me, i will be very thankful to u, i had installed the map of london,reply me plz, bye :-? :(

where did you put the map, in what folder on your mmc?
what files are in the folder of the map?

i installed the city maps and then i installed london ovc and then sis in the memory card but it is still saying no map found, can u plz help

TomTom Mobile isn't the same as TomTom Citymaps..
although I think you can use the maps of Citymaps for Mobile but I'm not sure

you need to install the sis setup (link in this thread) then you need some maps
these maps you have to put in a folder on the root of your mmc
something like e:\London

if it doesn't work with the maps of Citymaps you will need to get hold of the great britain map

Hi Guies,

I downloaded sis file from my friend who is using it on Nokia 6630. He also provided me with all GB maps and voice folders.

Since Motorola A1000 uses Symbian OS (with UIQ), I thought it should work on this phone. The installation went OK. It has installed on its internal memory card (C:), whereas maps and other components are on my flash memory in the phone (D:).

Now as I try to start tomtom from control panel, it shows message with heading "Not found" and button "continue". With no indication as of what is not found?

It always installs on internal memory. And internal memory is not capable of loading maps and voices on it (they are 132MB).

My friend installed sofware on external memory and its running very well on Nokia 6630.

Can anyone help???

I managed to install on the same memory card by installing another application known as nopEX.

I have all maps, voices and application in one place.
ALso it shows icon in launcher.
But again same problem, it shows "not found", while launching application.

Please help???

uninstall it and install the version I posted here
this version is known to work and tested by many
with this i,staller you can install it to your memorycard

copy the tom tom system ordner to the phone, the rest get on the mmc card, and the tom tom works fine

just delete the ** and put tt in its place:)


if you need special sis for N70,use the file marked N70 in above link
just copy to memory card,then on phone use "file manager" and brouse to the sis file on ur memery card and install,when program ask u install to phone or memory card choose phone.

what version u install?u will not here the voices,unless u picked a destination,the voice then directs you,on ur memory card u should have folder called voices,in 1 of the links above there all latest voices,you,ll av loads 2 choose from(sexy woman...the best......lol)work with v5+v6,just extract all the files into your voices folder,also there option to turn voice off(that may be selected,)

if so there 3 different sis files,u should of used the s60 sis,the others will install but not work properly,
go here down "voices",copy all to ur folder voices,and overwrite the 1s u got

take and install s60 from post 21,take voice pack from post 22 all will work,i used to av 6600 for work properly with tomtom,if i remember right the file in post 21,then u down the file there b 3 sis files only install the s60 sis,all will install,but only the s60 will work properly,also when u install,it ask u install on memery card or phone,,,,,choose mem card,,,

ok read this:) took me ages so this ans your prob
i no goood with megaupload so just take the file yourself

Voices on different phones!!!!!
The reason some voices work and others don!t is due to the different bit rate Nokia uses for audio. On the 6260 and 6600 for example the max bit rate is 16kHz but on the 6630 & 6680 24kHz is the max. So if the voice file is compiled at 22kHz (which seems to be the most common) the 6260 & 6600 will not process it correctly and you get no sound!!!!!!!

Also the other problem you can have with switching voices & freezeing or slow, is quite simple to cure just resize the bitmap image for the celeb voice make it smaller i use 80x80 or 60x60.

Also this is a good cure for N70 owners resize your bitmap images for poi.s & speedcams.
