Hello, all.

If you're confused by the other thread on unlocking a Cingular Nokia 6102 (http://nokiafree.org/forums/t77552/h/s.html), perhaps this will help.

The NokiaFree Calculator program version 3.10 for whatever reason was giving me an incorrect unlock code, probably because it selects an ASIC2 GEN and I could not change it to anything else.

However, if you go to the webpage version at http://unlock.nokiafree.org/ , this works correctly if you use the DCT4 Online Calculator, and select the ASIC6 GEN instead of the default New Griffin. I selected the Nokia 6100 as my phone model as the 6102 was not given as a choice.

The #1 code worked for me, I didn't try the others.

Hope this helps.

To change the default settings on the standalone version of nFree calc, you have to go to options and check "expert mode". Once that is done, you will be able to set custom settings as you wish.

It didn't work for my 6102 . For the Network, I put CINGULAR - Pacific Bell Wireless because that was the closest I found for Cingular. For GEN I put asic6, and for model i tried first 6100, then ASIC 6. Neither worked. Any ideas, anyone?

It worked okay for me:

NETWORK: 31017 (Cingular Pac/Bell Wireless)
ASIC 6

I guess he meant asic6 serial...

and well... it has been more or less proved that there areapproximately 2048 valid serials for each phone. Take a look at the thread dedicated to serials studies, and with simple math you can arrive to those conclusions with some level of security.
