I bought a gps reciever for my n70 its the sirf3.

It works great but after 10-15 min it loses all signal. it gives problem reconnecting so the only way to get it working is restarting the fone.

Thats tuff when ur actually driving and trying to set up tom tom and you just missed ur turn.

I got tomtom5 and i think its a bluetooth problem from my phone because all is fine after restarting the fone.

What can i try and do to resolve this??

is it a cheapo ebay gps ?? if so .. therein lies your problem !!

set the BT on ur phone to authorised connection.

its a fone bluetooth issue...

I wouldn't jump in to blame the GPS. I bought this one cheap (40 quid) off eBay and it works fine with TomTom on my Nokia 6630:

Do you have another system you can try out with the GPS? A computer or something? Also try downloading AFTrack and see how you go on the phone:

At least trying these two you can diagnose whether it's the phone, TomTom or the gps.
