Hi! I'm new at this, so my knowledge about it isn't deep at all.
I want to unlock my nokia 6230 in Chile, and my Network is Movistar, but Movistar doesn't appear in the list of Networks in http://unlock.nokiafree.org/.
The question is how can I unlock my phone using the IMEI.
Thank you very much in advance.

I know I need to select de network (Movistar - ex Bellsouth) to unlock the phone and this is my problem, because it is not in the list in http://unlock.nokiafree.org.

Which other solution do I have ? :???: Is there any other web page where I can find it ? :???:

Please please, whoever can help me. Thanks in advance.

Is it any of the ones listed on that page?

I think it could be 730 01, Entel Telefonica Movil.

At least, in the ITU listing, this is the only network that could be Movistar (Telefonica division for mobile communications).

Mr. mestrini, the ITU listing should have it listed, but apparently it only has two networks for Chile, and none of them are Movistar. But, since Movistar is part of Telefonica, I think it is probable that the code of Telefonica Movil should work. Unless of course there's a ghost network... which I hope it isn't the case ;)

Best regards

yeah, only federico can tell us if we're thinking logically since he's the one with the phone to try codes on ;)

and to complicate even more he mentions ex-Bellsouth :???:

Until may 2005 there were two different companies, BELLSOUTH and TELEFONICA MOVIL. In may 2005 Telefónica bougth Bellsouth in Latin América, and they came in the market as MOVISTAR. In Chile they have near 50% of the market!!.
I dont know if Movistar is still using Telefonica's Mobile Network Code (MNC) or the one from Bellsouth.

I think is good for you to know that there is another mobile operator, its name is SMARTCOM. This tells you that Connection Software's web page is really not updated. Where else we can find this information?

Thank you very much.
