Of course Ive got the old school n-gage...

But well my phone has crashed, and crashed baddd...
When I turn it on, it lights up...nokia sign comes up... and then it goes blank and just turns back off...

I put in the charger in hope to somehow pass this part of the procedure, and when it tried to go to the blank screen with the battery on it it just said something like.... 'SYSTEM ERROR STARTUP' and i think I saw CORRUPT somewhere

it does that a couple of times, and then freezes, so obviously there is some sort of corrupt startup file. Of course you can format the phone using that *73... thing but I cant actually type, so i cant format the phone like that!!!

Is there someway to save my phone?!

Ive read a bit about this flashing, but how do you get the software on the phone and all that jazz?!

Any help would be really appreciated... Thanks

Joe

You need to go to nokia center or somewhere to flash your phone, this is only the solutions for your problems...

This unfortunately is a very common problem with older symbian phones such as the N-Gage, 3650, 7650 etc. Its usually to do with applications and the memory gettin muddled.

In my experience a software flash dusnt always cure the problem. You have to format the user area on the phone so that all the stuff you have put onto the phone such as contacts, games, applications, etc get wiped from the memory.

If that doesnt work you will need to check that the memory card hasnt corrupted.

If you want more help or would like me to sort the phone out for you, add me to msn or email me on [email protected]

OR just PM me :)

Chris.
