Hi all,
I just got my Nokia 6020 and it is locked to T-Mobile. i am based in the UK. I have been trying for some time with 3 unsuccessful code entries.
I'll list my details -- NO IMEI number :)
Software name:
NokiaFREE Unlock Codes Calculator v3.20.03
Manufacturer - Nokia
Phone Model - 6020
Country - United Kingdom
Locked to - T-Mobile-One 2 One
MCC+MNC - 23430000
Asic2
V2
33820
Now typing in those details into the software. I tried unlock code 1 and it don't work. I also changed the MCC+MNC to 23431000 due to another site sayin t-mobile has a different operator number. Could someone tell me what i have done wrong. I am NOT asking for the codes, just if my above details are correct.
btw - i have entered 3 times incorrectly
Thanks

thanks for the prompt reply-
can't it be any sim? or does it have to be t-mobile. If it is any sim, when i unlock it will it get locked to that sim which is in there?
and lastly - the MCC code - 23430000 or just 23430 as by default the system sticks those zeros at the end
Thanks

jus 1 more question mate
One drop down box only has ASIC 2/5/6/7 - i assume from what you wrote - i pick 2.
Undeneath this though, is another drop down box - GTCL-001/V1/V2/Griffin Old/Griffin New/Prodigy/Original/One/ Asic 6/T-Mobile/Gay's / Custom
Any idea which one of those

really sorry to be a pain,
but i put an O2 sim in and it sas phone restricted, please insert unlock codes. I enter the code and says phone still restricted. So i have taken the o2 sim out and turned the phone on, and it is still open for me to put codes in? what should i do?

when no sim - it automatically says invalid code ( not for this new code - haven't tied it yet)
when the O2 sim was in, it said click to accept the code, and then sed its wrong ;(

Mr Mestrini noted that there is FIVE attempts for 6020 opposed to THREE attempts for 6230
no - he orginally posted it was 3 for the 6020, but then rememeber he was actually talking about the 6230, and so edited the post. Anyway nw

i think he means that if you used 3 tries before my mistake and one after that you still have one last try to get it right ;)
