Problem unlocking Nokia 3120

Hi all

I've just bought Nokia 3120, its locked to Orange (UK) network. I tried unlocking it with NokiaFREE Calculator, it generated codes, i entered code #7 on my phone it didnt work and then i tried code #1 and still it didnt work. I have wasted 2 tries already.

So i wonder how i can unlock my Nokia 3120.

as has been said before, let us know what gen u used to calculate and what message the phone gave :-?

also be sure that you're using the MCC+MNC from the provider to wich the phone is locked to

After the two attempts, the "code error" messages appeared on the screen which obviously means that i had the wrong code for my phone.

As i used NokiaFREE Calculator, the program used its own default settings which cannot be altred.

These are the following settings that have been used by default after selecting my phone, imei #, country and network etc:

MCC+MNC: 23433000

Asic 2

V2 - 33820

I hope that gives you an idea of why the generated codes didnt work as i do not know what the settings meant to be set at.

What do you mean? By the way... This is Nokia Unlocking forum. There's a section for Motorola. Maybe you should post your question there, probably Motorola experts are there and you will get a specific answer faster.

I've got a rough image about how to unlock my 3120 after going though the threads here. Thanks a lot for all of your guys. however, should i use any specific cable other than the original data cable to connect my 3120 with PC in order to generate a unlocking code by using the NokiaFREE Calculator?

You don't need any cable to unlock your phone. You can get the imei by pressing *#0000#. The rest of the info you should be able to gather it from other threads. Once you have them, turn on your phone without any sim, and enter the code. If nothing happens, turn on the phone with a rejected SIM, and enter the code again.

One advice, don't waste your five tries.

So you have Only Three tries remaining for Unlocking it from Network lock,You can get the Network unlock code from here
