I'm looking at how to get driving directions on my mobile, no gprs or maps or fancy stuff just text based info showing 'from point A to point B' stuff.

I've tried loads of route finder sites on my mobile, such as mapquest, googlemaps, and the AA, but they never seem to work, even though it seems so simple.
I've looked for wap only sites but still no joy. Some sites offer an option to send you directions via text, but I'm sure there must be a site that I can access.

I'm using a Nokia 6630 in the UK

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks

All the mapping software will do this, combined with a gps. Wayfinder is very good, but uses GPRS to get its data. That's fine because the amount of data transferred if you have maps turned off is very small. It also means, however, that you get the very latest data.

TomTom also has the option of turning off maps, and has maps stored on the card in your phone.

I use both on the 6630 and they're great.
