Because if it's not then this guy owes me a quid back. He owes me quid back anyway because the code it generated will not unlock my piece of rubbish Samsung sgh-a800 but that's another story.

Sorry for posting this here but the relevant forums are dead.

its the same as ppl selling cracked games or any other apps come to that, they get them free then sell them, not on.

i beleive unlocking services are actually against ebay rules, and auctions should be reported straight to ebay

The unauthorised use of software or services which can unlock devices, such as mobile telephone SIM cards or which enable access to restricted areas, confidential information, other encoded data or protected data procedures, is illegal in the UK.

eBay's policy on unlocking software:

Software or services which can unlock devices such as mobile telephones SIM cards or which enable access to restricted areas, confidential information, other encoded data or protected data procedures may not be listed on eBay
