View Full Version : Help me unlock my 3220

Hi im having trouble unlocking my nokia 3220 its locked to o2, ive tried using the calculators to get the codes and it says 'cannot undo restriction' is there any other way of me unlocking it, i have a DKU-2 cable if this helps.

Unfortunately there's no solution short of taking the phone to a small repair shop, since you need special equipment and no software/cable combination will do.

They will unlock it for a small fee, max 30USD but usually less than that.

I also have a 3220 locked to o2. I got an unlock code off o2 but it didnt work.
Then i went to a nokia club engineer in carlow. She couldnt help either. Methinks the only solution is to get a new fone! o2 sucks! :mad:

It shouldn't be that way. Any place that has repair equipment should be able to unlock it. I suspect you were misinformed.

i have a 3220 coming off ebay and allready have a DKU-5 usb cable so your saying i can not unlock using this cable !!im hoping smartcalc or such like will unlock it as i think its on vodafone!!

used the nokiafree calc software unlocked it no problem atall!!

I said that, in case you have a hardlocked phone, meaning, a phone which its five tries have been used, a cable is useless since you need special equipment. However, a phone with all its tries still not used, can be unlocked via codes without problems.
