Which Nokia for NokiX?

Hi, I'm new here :)

I'm about to buy my first cellphone (yes I didn't have any before. No I'm not a 10 year old kid.) I want to mod it, so it will have most functionaly of a Instant Messanger (like icq or jabber). I'm good at scripting - I made a script for Diablo II bot adding some more monster to bot to run (and expanding bot functionlity by 300% :P) :)

Which Nokia will be best for me? In which one I could put the most own code?

well... the most popular in this nokix forum i think is the 3310.

But nowadays seems that 3310's memory(2mb) become full with the available scripts if you use with lots of modification(more main styles, screensavers...).

If you clear the flash(delete uneccessary languages, ringtones...) you will get aproximately 1mb free.

So I prefer 3330 which is almost the same like 3310 but with higher memory(4mb). There is a script which allows to use 3310 firmware so you will have quite much place for your own ideas ;-) there will 3mb place if you use this amazing script :roll:

At home I already have a old 3210 (from mom ;p), but its screen is damaged - one line is missing, 2 rd from bottom. I'll have one for experiments ^^.

For a first script you will have to wait a little ;] I haven't write anything yet.

I'm thinking about writting a matrix screen saver with time appearing in random places.
