SIM Card Registration Failed

I have unlocked my 1600 and the code was accepted fine.
The phone was on orange in the UK to start with but when a O2 sim in i get SIM Card Registration Failed. If i use a T-Mobile SIM I get coverage but the calls get rejected and if i call the T-Moble number i get a message saying calls are not curently being connected to this number?
Any one have any ideas

the phone is blacklisted... that is that the phone has been reported stolen to the police and then blocked access to the networks... your phone is a brick... if it is yours at all...
