bin away a while lol, how come after i have logged, on the home page the download section says im not logged in. so i click log in and am diverted to the home page, where oddly enough I am logged in, and so on?

Just a guess!
You may have done a disk cleanup recently and your cookies are deleted from your previous visits.
Check you have cookies enabled.
