Can I add more than 100 tone in my nokia 3310 ?

Hi to all ……
First of all I want some body guide me in how to use PPM manager In adding tone, cause I triad many time but I got contact service in every trail I did.
I will explain my trail steps below.

1 – I am using tow flash file to merge all the tone together, in the first file I am using ppm manager (Tone chunk – export to melody file – than save)

2 –In the second step I am going to my desired file than I am using again ppm manager (Tone chunk – import from melody file – than save) .I got total tone 95 approximately

3 – Now I am flashing my flash file to my phone = I got contact service!!!!!

Now any body can guide me if what I did is wrong or not and suggest any other program to increase total count of tone properly

you can add 100 tone to your flash file useing winddp but you have to remove lung packs and you will lost the 7 composed tones

about ppm manger are you useing full flash or just mcu&ppm ???

and make sure to checksum ppm

can i do this in 8210 also. i dont want any lang except english. can i delete them and add new things????

please give a step by step guide....

you can

do you have dejan box and winddp ?

you can download 92 tones here www.ed2k.com.ph

you need winddp and a dejan dongle.

why do i need dejan box for that. cant i do this simply with my cables??????

Because the file at that ed2k site is in format of wintelsa or winddp, you can also convert it to dejan format by using wt2dejan (http://nokiafree.org/forums/download.php?file=wt2dejan099e.zip&phone=Nokia/flash-converters/) , then you will no need dejan box, a simple dejan 1.0 flasher is okay to flash it.

go to Changes > Updat All PPM CRCs.... click yes, save N flash !!

that's gonna solve ur prob i guess

thanks to all who try help me ... i solve it when i used mcu + ppm flash file only and its ok now but still ther is an Q if a can adding more than ( 100 ) tone not 72

you can useing Winddp but you have to remove lungs and you are going to lost 7 compossed ringtoes
