Need Help with 1100b IMEI Change

Hi Guys,

I have a stock lot of MADE IN MEXICO Nokia 1100b with IMEI's starting with "0", I need to change the IMEI's of these phones to reflect that of MADE IN HUNGARY which start with "1". The Firmware of these phones are v7.34 with Manufacture Date 20-10-05 RH-18 (C) NMP 1100 Language : UA

Please let me know HOW and WHICH equipment and the method I should use to change these IMEI's.

IMEI changing in many countries is ILLEGAL

The reason the 1100b IMEI starts with 01 designates it as a US handset

Handsets made in Hungary would generally use an IMEI starting with its international phone number prefix

Thanks for the Info, as I am already aware of this, however I bought this stock lot( over 1000pcs) as Hungary Stock as indicated by my supplier and didn't turn out to be so. And as such I need to dispose this stock locally and its not possible unless the IMEI starts with "1" as the local networks dont accept the handset.

Thus was my posting to this forum in search of a solution. Wld appreciate if someone could give me a solution as the normal method of flashing and changing IMEI results in a DEAD phone.

I am afraid you will recieve NO help from any members here about changing your IMEI's, since this is illegal and could end up getting this forum closed down or even landing a member in jail!
