8260 cable to fit 8265

i have a 8260 data cable and i upgraded my phone to a 8265 the cable physically fits the 8265 and all of the pins make contact but there is no communication between the phone and logomanager does anybody know if the pinouts are different (can i change the order of the pins) or if this cable is compatable in any way? any help would be appreciated there are 4 pins in a straight row on the data cable

HI HOW YOU UPGRADE FROM 8260 TO 8265 AND YES IT WORK RIGTH DONT HAVE TO DO ANY THING...........I MEAN IS THE SAME DATA CABLE ONLY YOU HAVE TO BRAKE THE LITTLE CORNER OF THE CABLE AND THAT S IT.

sorry i guess i was not clear i lost my 8260 and it was replaced with a 8265 the cable does fit the phone and all of the pins line up but when i open logomanager and try to download the address book or something like that there is no data it is not communicating logomanager seems to download data (is shows a status bar) but there is no data when it finishes therefore i think the pins are in the wrong order any help would be appreciated. could it be logomanager is not compatable? do you know of another software?

Does logomanager says connected on the bottom before trying to download data?

the little ican shows connected as well as the buttons at the top are active so i know some of the pins are making connection but there is no data transfer there is an error something like "failed to connect" so i think the pins are in the wrong order or missing addl pins any help would be appreciated

If we get a chance we will try the 8265 w/LogoManager but in general 8260/8265 are the same ...

We rarely use LogoManager anymore especially w/TDMA - CDMA phones... Best bet is Wintesla to read out the phonebook

i would really appreciate any help i have a copy of wintesla but i thought it was for cdma or gsm only should i load it? does it work basically the same? anyway let me know about the contacts for the cable
