Help unlock 3220 - Which Gen to use?

I have T-mobile USA 3220b phone.

I read in other posts from Edge "If it is '04, use T-Mobile serial. If it first months of 05, use Original, and forwards use ONE."

But my confusion is that should I interpret date above as July (07) or February (02)? Based on this I will have to use Original or ONE. Is there any relation between langauge version above and date format used dd-mm or mm-dd?

Unknowingly, I have wasted 2 attempts already, so want to be sure this time.

Another confusion after reading too many posts is whether I should put valid SIM or Invalid SIM. I am not sure.

Please guide me.

Hi,

People must realise that phones arnt that hard to unlock.

Nokia DCT4 have over 2048 possible working GENs.

The Most Recommended is ORIGINAL and ONE.

Stear Clear of V2 and V1 Gens, as they are BLACKLISTED!!

Hi I am new to this mobile unlocking stuff. Could you please give me directions for unlocking my 3220b : which software do I need to download etc.

Hey,

Like i Said before, pretty simple stuff.

Once you Open your New Nokia Free Software.
Select Nokia > 3220
enter your IMEI: <in ur phone, input *#06#>
Select Country
Select Operator
The Next two Boxes show Read
ASIC 2
And the Final Box select ORIGINAL
The Digits to the side should change to 32779.

Calculate.

enter the code ending with +7# into the home screen of your phone.

Done.
