Hello,

A friend is sending me his symbian-based Nokia phone and I'd like to be able to copy a software application on it to another phone of the same model. I know that on Motorola, it's possible for phone provider to "protect" applications in a way that prevents them from being copied. Is this the case for Nokia as well? If so, is there any way to copy protected software?

Thanks in advance!

I'm not sure if there's any way to 100% protect anything..

So then would you or someone else be willing to tell me how to copy the software?

Thanks

I got an 6234 with an 64MB memory card. Lately I bought an 1GB memory card, and I am wonder, how to copy the previous contents of the old card to new one (like Vodafone related extras)
How could it work?
Nokia PC Suite does not see any files at the moment on existing old (64MB) card (neither the letaly downloaded ones), so I can't even copy them to PC...

I used Paragon Partition Manager the other day to resize a partition on and SD card. I think it has the facility to Image/backup the SD card and restore the image onto another card.

I will have a look myself when my 1gb card turns up
