Hi all,
I've been using the automatic generator to get some codes for my Nokia 5100 but none have worked so far. I used the following details:
IMEI: <Removed>
Network: United Kingdom - T-Mobile
Gen: New Griffin
Nokia Model: 5100
...but the four attempts so far have failed. One more try and I'm not going to be able to use the unlock codes! I just hope nobody has tried before me. I used lines 1, 2, 4, and 7. None of them worked?! Can anyone help?
If this last attempt fails, does anyone know somewhere I can send the phone to have it unlocked? I don't fancy buying a cable just to unlock this phone.
Cheers,
Richard.

Can nobody help or suggest what I might be doing wrong? I'm going to have to use up my last try soon and then find some other way of getting the phone unlock if it doesn't work - there must be someone who takes phones through the post and unlocks them then sends them back?
Thanks,
Richard.

Which generator are you using for the unlock codes? The one on this website or another program? Make sure you are choosing DCT-4 when generating the codes. I think it's your GEN that's wrong. Try using asic2 or boxv2. Code # should work. Not 100% it'll help, but you could give it a shot.
As always, don't forget to use the search on the forum to get more information. Chances are, someone's already posted about it.
Goodluck!

I used the generator on this web site. I've just tried the asic2 and it failed again, now the phone reports 'cannot undo restriction' when I try an other codes. I guess I have only the cable left, and nobody that seems to want cold hard cash to do it?! Surely there must be someone out there who has a cable that wants a few quid for a minute or two of work?!!!

if u had cannot undo restriction that means this time u had right code but used ur 5 tries up..
t-mob sometime awkward,in the newer cals u just set them to expert mode, then instead using asic2 or whatever use dropdown ther u find t-mobile.
esisially use this for 3220b if software ver over4 or above.
just thought i,d point this out.
for horseman_uk when its said only cable can help,it not exactally true,u need 1 of the unlocking/flashing boxes also.easiest way take to unlocking shop,b bout £10 i would think.

£10 later at a shop and the phone is unlocked. Damn, I wish the codes had worked first time and it would have saved me some money! Is there any way I could have known to use asic2 without posting on the forums?

Should of just used ASIC 2, and your gen as Original, would of saved you some cash.
Or you could of visited this site. (http://unlockitfree.com) which takes the guess work out!
