Please help, 8210 LCD nightmare!!

Hi my 8210 display kept getting corrupted and I had to flex the phone to get it to work. I just replaced the elastomer and it disappeared completely. After an hour or so messing about I got the display back but there was a permanent blank horizontal line across it. I then bought a new display and this was completely blank!!! I put the old one back and this was blank too!!! Again A
after messing about I got the display back but there was a permanent blank horizontal line across it. This comes and goes and at the moment there is no display at all with either LCD!!! I am tearing my hair out!! Does anyone have any advice? What else should I check. Any help greatly appreciated. Cheers guys.

I dont know if this is any help, but look on the datasheet for 8210.

I tried to upload it to the board, but i woldnt come... :(

I had the same problem with mine, had to push real hard on the frame and do the screws up real tight to keep the display working. All this even after getting a new lcd installed, try bending the corner of your lcd frame without cracking the screen. Make sure you do it very very carefully
