6210 Unlocking Problems

I'm new to this site and have a problem if anyone can help.

I recently bought a 6210 which was locked to Orange. It's not that I am particularly in love with the phone but need it for my car kit. I have about 5 6210's and this is the only one that the car kit will recognise.

I've successfully unlocked it however when I put my O2 SIM in it wouldn't accept it, - 'SIM card not accepted'.

I went through the unlocking procedure a second time and it confirmed that it wasn't locked.

Any ideas on what I can do next??? :-?

Orange might use lock 2 as well GID (0000-Dual Band). If this still does not work you can always try the cable option.

I hadn't a clue what I was doing but, followed your advise and now I have a phone thats working perfectly!!!!
